Our client is a leading main contractor specialising in high-quality workplace and commercial fit-out projects across London and the South East. Known for delivering innovative, fast-paced workplace environments for blue-chip clients, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join their growing team.

The Role
As Senior Planner, you will play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of complex workplace and commercial fit-out projects. Working closely with project teams, pre-construction, and delivery teams, you will develop and manage detailed programmes to ensure projects are delivered on time and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using industry planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6).

• Work closely with pre-construction teams to produce tender programmes and methodology statements.

• Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and delays and proposing mitigation strategies.

• Liaise with project managers, commercial teams, and subcontractors to ensure programme alignment.

• Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and clients.

• Conduct programme reviews and contribute to project planning strategy.

• Support multiple projects simultaneously across London.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within a main contractor environment.

• Strong background delivering commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or workplace projects.

• Proficiency with planning software such as Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6.

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and programme management.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Package

• £85,000 – £95,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
