Job Title: Junior Health & Safety Advisor (Contract)
Location: Doncaster
Rate: £200-£250 per day (depending on experience)
Sector: Civil Engineering

Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading civil engineering and RC frame contractor on a contract basis in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced site environment, working alongside experienced professionals on major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and monitoring of health & safety policies and procedures on site

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance

• Assist in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

• Promote a positive health & safety culture among site teams and subcontractors

• Record and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices

• Ensure all works are carried out in line with current legislation and company standards

• Assist with inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety briefings

Requirements:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)

• Previous experience in a construction, civil engineering, or RC frame environment (preferred)

• Good understanding of UK health & safety legislation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail
