TriBuild Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing business based in Billericay. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional with a strong subcontracting background to play a key role within the Fire Protection and Decorating Divisions.

Reporting directly to the company directors, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring costs are controlled while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of projects from start to final account.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontract packages.
• Monitor project costs, valuations, and variations.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Produce accurate financial reports and forecasts.
• Work closely with the directors to maximise project profitability.
• Ensure commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a subcontracting environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
