The Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of electrical systems across a range of commercial and residential projects. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality design solutions, collaborating closely with clients, architects, and other disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical design solutions from concept to construction stage.
• Produce technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and carry out site inspections when necessary.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design within the building services sector.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Proven experience working on commercial and residential projects.
• Proficient in design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux/Relux).
• Strong understanding of current electrical regulations (BS7671, etc.).
