Lead Planner

Lead Planner:Major Civils Programme North West

I’m supporting a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major, long-term civils and heavy-infrastructure programme in the North West. We’re looking for an experienced Lead Planner to take ownership of programme planning, controls and schedule management across multiple complex work packages.

Role Overview:
* Lead the planning and programme-control function across the project
* Develop, maintain and manage detailed P6 schedules
* Work closely with engineering, delivery, commercial and SHEQ teams
* Support progress measurement, critical-path analysis and risk reviews
* Provide programme insight, reporting and mitigation strategies to senior leadership
* Coordinate planning input across multiple interfaces and stakeholders
* Ensure full compliance with project governance and assurance processes
* Drive best practice across planning, controls and programme performance
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong background as a Senior Planner or Lead Planner on major civils / infrastructure projects
* Advanced Primavera P6 capability
* Excellent programme assurance, governance and risk-management understanding
* Experience in highly regulated, complex environments is very beneficial
* Strong communication and stakeholder-coordination skills
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multi-discipline teams

This role requires the ability to satisfy security vetting processes linked to high-security infrastructure environments.
