Mechanical Supervisor

Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor – Residential (M&E Contractor)
Location: Dagenham
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Package OR £260 – £290 per day (CIS/Ltd)

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a well-established M&E contractor working on a major residential scheme in Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and qualified individual to join a busy, growing team on a long-term project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all mechanical works on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, and plant installation

• Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed to spec, on time and within budget

• Liaise with the site management team, engineers, and other trades

• Maintain health & safety standards and ensure compliance across site activities

• Conduct inspections, snagging, and handovers

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on residential projects

• Mechanical trade qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

• SSSTS certification (essential)

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices

• Ability to read drawings and coordinate M&E installations effectively
