Pre-Construction Technical Engineer.

Pre-Construction Technical Engineer (MEICA) – Water Industry – Mid Sussex/Hampshire
TRIbuild Solutions are working with a leading civil engineering contractor who is looking to add a Pre-Construction Technical Engineer (MEICA) to their team, delivering key AMP8 water projects across the South East.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys shaping projects from the ground up – leading technical solutions, supporting pre-construction activities, working closely with clients and design teams, and driving innovation to deliver real value.

You’ll be:

• Leading pre-construction design and technical activities.
• Preparing detailed scopes, specifications, and tender documents.
• Managing suppliers and ensuring solutions are compliant, buildable, and innovative.
• Supporting commercial and estimating teams through the pre-construction phase.
• Handing over to project teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Projects typically range from £200k to £5m, offering a real variety of work and technical challenges.

What you’ll need:

• MEICA experience within the water sector (essential).
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes.
• Solid understanding of CDM regulations.
• Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Electrical or ICA Engineering.
• Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
• Experience with NEC4 contracts and WIMES standards would be a bonus.
