Quality Engineer

QUALITY ENGINEER
TRIbuild Solutions is working with a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering a major nuclear project in Cumbria. They are now looking to appoint a permanent Quality Engineer to support site teams with the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of project quality systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to join at the early stages of a flagship scheme, helping to shape quality processes from day one while benefiting from long term programme security and progression.

The role will include
* Supporting the Project Quality Manager across live civils works
* Maintaining and improving the project management system
* Coordinating with client quality teams
* Managing NCR registers and corrective actions
* Undertaking internal and supplier audits
* Supporting ITP development and handover documentation
* Producing quality reports for senior project leadership
* Promoting quality culture across site teams
* Monitoring document control systems and compliance tools

We are keen to speak with individuals who have
* Experience working on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
* Background as a Section Engineer or Quality Engineer
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 management systems
* Understanding of construction methodologies
* Audit experience or lead auditor training advantageous
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Commercial awareness and reporting capability
