Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering
I’m recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established civil engineering contractor with long-term frameworks and major infrastructure schemes secured across the UK. This is a permanent role with strong career progression and a great package on offer.

The Role
You’ll support project delivery teams across a portfolio of civil engineering schemes ranging in value from £200k to £10m+. The role will suit someone confident in managing subcontractor packages, forecasting, and identifying commercial risks and opportunities. Strong NEC3 Option C knowledge is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage CVRs, cost and commercial plans
• Subcontract procurement and commercial management
• Draft and submit applications for payment
• Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Support with change control, claims and final accounts
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site teams

What I’m looking for:

• Civil engineering background with relevant experience as a QS or SQS
• Solid understanding of NEC3 Option C
• Strong reporting, forecasting and cost control skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a delivery team
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying preferred

On offer:

• £70,000 – £80,000 basic salary
• Company car or allowance
