Construction Site Agent – Suffolk Highways, Ipswich

Are you an experienced Construction Site Agent looking for an opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality highway projects? TRIbuild Solutions is recruiting for a freelance role on the Suffolk Highways contract, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional.

This position is a 3-4 month contract, rates negotiable, inside IR35.

Your Role:

As a Construction Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of planned works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to HSEQ standards

• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

• Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups

• Ensure robust safety measures and compliance

• Support commercial teams to maintain project profitability

• Keep detailed project records and reports

• Assist with construction programming and method planning

• Work closely with key supply chain partners to enhance efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: IOSH/SMSTS, CSCS (HNC/Degree preferred but not essential)

• Experience: Strong background in managing highway or infrastructure projects

• Skills & Attributes: Leadership, cost control, problem-solving, teamwork, and a commitment to safety

• Requirements: A full, clean driving license
