Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Westminster-based, with site visits across London
Projects: £500k-£20m
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Sustainability Manager to join our growing construction company. Based in Westminster, you will play a key role in driving sustainability initiatives across our diverse range of projects, valued between £500k and £20m, at various sites throughout London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies for projects, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and integrate sustainable practices from planning through to completion.
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors on sustainable construction practices.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and local authorities, to promote sustainability objectives.
- Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends, standards, and technologies relevant to the construction industry.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in sustainability within the construction sector.
- A strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainable building practices, and certifications.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field are highly desirable.
